Hello and welcome to another issue of the Toy Theatre magazine. As you can see from the title page, I am in a sort of identity crisis. You see this all started out as a means to connect to other toy theatre collectors, to tell something about my way of doing things and be a "part". But then it happened that some people started to contribute. Hey that was marvellous! Remember that beautiful wooden parquetry floor by Eric Hoffman? And then I wanted to design my very own theatre and all of a sudden the web site became a platform on which to publish. Some things do happen all at once, somewhat disappointed about my movie of "Sleeping Beauty in the Wood" I came across "Vocal Writer" a Macintosh program enabling me to have characters singing lyrics and so the next movie "Puss in Boots" became an "all dancing and singing" musical. But then, of course if one makes a movie, one needs public to show it to. Distribution on c.d. rom works, but is a somewhat roundabout way of doing things. It is too costly in terms of time and money to give them away to anybody who asks for it yet, but where it is largely a work of love one, on the other hand, wants as much public as possible. In the previous issue, in the remake due the move to yet another provider, I posted the movie in the web page, but not many people had the patience to wait some 15 minutes to downoad it.
